Fourth Arrest Made In Greenwich Gas-Station Melee

A fourth arrest has been made in the aftermath of a large fight between two groups of people at a gas station on West Putnam Avenu on Dec. 27.

Eric Manning, 20, of Wilbur Peck Court, Greenwich, was charged Monday, Jan. 29, with assault and breach of peace, said Lt. John Slusarz.

Manning was charged in connection with a fight between two groups of people at the gas station which started when one person punched another in the face. A larger fight ensured with one suspect grabbing a piece of wood and smashing a car window. A witness called the police, but the group fled before officers arrived on scene. 

Police were able to make arrests by reviewing the surveillance footage.

Arrested earlier included: Dean Michael Gerardi, 22; Jonathan Desouza, 19, and Laura Lynn Koenig, 19, all of Greenwich.

Manning was released on $250.
